Glimmer of Hope

So, I was reading on PCOL that 1.1 million dollars from an Administration emergency AIDS/HIV fund have been allocated to Peace Corps efforts.  In this particular article it said that Zambia (among several other African nations) is receiving $487,000 of that allocation.  I hope that this is good news for my possible placement.  Many programs seem to have been cut as of late, and this is the program I want in the division I want, and they just got increased funding...Please let that be the Universe at work on my behalf (and the Universe at work to end needless suffering).

I have 4 more weeks until I can even call PCMO and bug them to look at my file.  I know this is all part of the process and I should be "hanging in there" but I'd love to start to getting some feedback.  Ok, just thought I would note the increased funding for a well deserved program, even when others are seeing unfortunate cutbacks.
